Rtn.Gopinath Kar is born on 7thAugust 1969 to Dr.Bijay Chandra Kar and Mrs. Shantilata Kar at Bhubaneswar. He has completed school and intercollege education from Bhubaneswar.Then completed Diploma in Agriculture from U.P. Higher Secondary Board Allahabad in 1988 then completed his B. Sc.Ag from Ajmer University, Rajsthan in 1991.Then completed M.Sc.Ag in Agricu lturalExtension at Visva-Bharati Unversity, Santiniketan, West Bengal in the year 1994. Then joined as Sales Manager in Rallis India Limited from 1994-1996. Then he joined in Government Service in 1996 as Junior Soil Conversation Officer. He is presently working as Asst. Director of Horticulture, Nilgiri, Dist: Balasore under the Directorate of Horticulture ,Odisha.During his service period of 26years he has also completed a post Graduate Diploma inAgricu ltural Extension Management from MANAGE, Hyderabad and also completed another P.G. Diploma Programme in Logistic & Supply Chain Management from Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, Bhubaneswar. He joined Rotery International as a member of Rotery club of Dhenkanalin2008 being inspired bythe service activitiesof Rotery.Hehas worked as Club Secretary in DhenkanalRotery club in the year 2011-12.In Rotery his measure achievement is to create a New Rotery Club at the Tribal Based District of Malkangiri during the year 2015-16 as Governors Special Representative (GSR) which got charter on 5thApr il2016.He is happily married to Suchismita who is M.A in PoliticalScience from Sambalpur University.He has been blessed with One Son Swayamjeet who has completed his B.Tech. Degree from VSSUT, Burla in 2021 and now running 02Nos. Companies as startup project and he has also blessed with a daughter Avliasha who is continuing her education inStd.XI.
